THE V-SERIES LINEUP PROMISES FUNCTIONAL INTERIORS AND OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE-DRIVING ERGONOMICS
The Cadillac V-Series lineup carry the aura of track inspired performance cues to the already luxurious yet driver-oriented interior of the original models. However, key components aimed at amplifying the feel of performance-driving are optimized with design, material and finish.
After all, with the performance that both the 2016 CTS-V and ATS-V are capable of delivering, the interior of these models needs to be as functional as the other vehicles systems – and so, all of the contact points from the steering wheel to the seats, shifter and pedals are designed to make performance-driving experiences direct and intuitive.
Across the V-Series lineup, the available 16-way-adjustable RECARO performance front seats are the lynchpins of the driving experience, with adjustable bolsters that help hold the driver and front passenger in place during high-load cornering. They also have a luxury-performance feel, trimmed in Mulan leather with sueded microfiber inserts and seatbacks. Twenty-way-adjustable, semi-aniline leather-trimmed sports seats with sueded microfiber inserts come standard.
Boththe 2016 CTS-V and ATS-V boast phone integration technology – that’s part of the enhanced Cadillac CUE infotainment system – designed to take phone features customers would want to access while driving and put them on the vehicle’s display in a smart, simple manner.
The features allow customers to use select smartphone apps through the touchscreen interface. In fact, many features can be controlled via voice commands through a button on the steering wheel, helping drivers keep their eyes on the road while driving.
In parallel, the CTS-V also offers Automatic Park Assist – which enables the car to park itself in parallel and perpendicular spaces – and the Curbview Camera provides a view of the lower front of the CTS-V to help protect the front splitter when parking.
